Looking For Recommendations

Hi All,

A client of mine would like to add a VERY SIMPLE shopping cart to their site - something that is lightweight and does not require login (if possible).

Typically I customize ZenCart and osCommerce solutions for clients that need an e-commerce application, but these solutions have been deemed too bloated by the client. They have a simple 25 product catalog and insist on having something 'basic' in place.

Soooo.... I would like to offer them a light-weight solution, but really do not know what the best option is. Does anyone know of a 'simple' cart that would fit these needs? The only requirement is that the cart be PHP/MySQL based, and *ideally* open-source - your feedback is appreciated!

More specifically, has anyone used either of the following:

PHPShop - http://blog.phpshop.org/

myMarket - http://mymarket.sourceforge.net/

These both appear to be fairly cheesy, but looks can be deceiving. Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

Hmmm, no one has used any of those? What about Fastilo - this looks to be pretty decent:

Anyone?

If anyone has had any experience with the aforementioned carts your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I don't understand why the client is so worried about a bloated ecommerce package?

You have proven experience with two excellent (and free) ecommerce packages - they have a simple need for only 25 items - seems like an easy solution to just go with one of those two. They seem to making a mountain out of a mole hill.

What has been your experience with using those two e packages? Have you found them to be bloated? If not, tell the client that and get them to let you finish their site!
