I guess you may try hostpebble company as their services are cheap indeed.
Their Simple Start costs only $1.99 per month.
Think you will lose nothing if stick to them.

I see that hostpebble provides inexpensive shared hosting with support which is active.
I haven't found anything negative of them.
They look quite reliable for me.
