Question

I've looked all over the web, in and out of html tutorials, and cannot find this anywhere. I have big site (i have five sub-sites taking up 170some web pages in all, 1.4mb). I would like to be able to move my site to differnt server (i'm not too pleased with the one i'm with now) but i can't find any information on how to mirror my site on a different server. And i really don't want to move it one page at a time at 170 pages.
Can anyway tell me how to go about doing this? I would REALLY appriciate it. :i)

The term "mirroring" usually refers to creating another copy of a site located on a different server, to save bandwidth of processor resources. This is usually only done with large sites that are working with limited resources.

You're most likely just getting ready to "move". It's not really that bad. You're talking about moving pages 1 by 1. You've probably worked with some type of web based upload, like on geocities. When you do move, you should move to someplace FTP accessable, like hypermart.net (a free hosting provider).

We have several FTP clients listed in our directory at 123webmaster.com if you haven't used one yet. They allow you to move all of your files in one quick sweep.

Before you do move, I'd reccomend reading "Moving Day" at webmaster-resources.com. You can find that article here: http://www.webmaster-resources.com/a...rticle26.shtml
