So I have a slew of warnings on my css stating:
You have no background-color set (or background-color is set to transparent) but you have set a color. Make sure that cascading of colors keeps the text reasonably legible.
Now of course these warning cause no validation issues, and as I have my page, I do believe that the cascade does keep things legible, so my question of the guru's is.
1) Should I care? I mean a warning is just a warning right?
2) If I want to be anal (that's my gut), what is the best way to apply the background-color to my elements? use the inherit value for the property since I cascade well, or set a generic color?
It seem to me setting them to be inherit is the correct method of removing this error and should work, but wanted to ask the masters here. I did this with one element and it seems to do what I think it should.

Thank you in advance for any comments.
