Custom 404 Page

I am writing a custom 404 page and I want to track where the error is coming from. Is there any way I can see what the link was that the user entered prior to being redirected to my custom 404 page? I use asp (not .net) with sql server on the back end.

Thanks~

afterburn will become famous soon enough
If you config the website you can use the custom errors in asp to redirect to 404 file. There is a post previously made by me with the error details that you would need or expect from 404 or 500 errors
