ASP xml writing - HTML Forums

Hello,

I want to construct a .asp file that would create an in-memory xml document.
I will then pass the document via its variable name as a parameter for flash.

I have been searching everywhere but could not find the information that would allow me to do something like this:

Dim xmlDoc
xmlDoc = new XmlDocument()
xmlDoc.StartDocument()
xmlDoc.addElement("blah blah blah")
xmlDoc.EndDocument()
%>

I know that the code above will not actually work... but its the basic idea of what i would like to accomplish.

the main point is I do not wish to save the file. It should remain in memory only, so that it can be passed into flash via parameter using it's variable name.

is this possible? could this be accomplished using only asp classic?
