Hello, My name is Witchy and I need some help with the Jukebox Player Script. I have it on my site now but no one can save the songs from their media player! The songs are in .wma format and I know the Jukebox was made for wav's and midi's. What I need to know is Where in the Script I can change something to make it also enable persons to save the .wma file. Or can someone build one that will enable people to save .wma files? The website is at http://www.witchy.ca/Music/index.html
Thank you everyone in advance for any help. Oh and where am I acutally supposed to post this message :-) as in which section of this forum?
Hi Witchy, welcome to htmlforums. I notice that the "save as" option on media player when playing your .wma files is greyed out. This is not a fault with the jukebox or media player I feel, but because the music is streaming media. To enable your visitors to download the songs, I think you will have to supply text links that will enable them to right click and choose the "save as" option. On another note, nice customization of the jukebox and great job on choosing .wma format, your music is nice and crisp.

Hi there Ian,
Thank you for your kind words on my Jukebox changes :-) I do appreciate your input. I did create different pages for the different Groups in order that others may do the Right Click thing and download the music. So long as people can hear the music in the Jukebox I don't mind having to create seperate pages for download purposes. It would be nice though if they could acutally save it from the Player itself. I can save from the player when at my Jukebox page but then again I am using Windows XP which came with the very latestest Windows Media Player which is Version 8.000 something. This player is not yet available for down load to others. All I had to do was change the option to seperate the Player and make it the default player instead of the IE Media Player :-)
I am glad you like my choice of wma files instead of asf or wav files. I like good clear music as I am sure others do as well.
