Ok I drew some pictures of game show sets that I want to put on my site. I know the game shows and maybe the parts of the game shows(what I drew pictures of) might be copyrighted. I want to know: would I get in trouble if I put those pictures on my website?
And by the way, I'm new to this board.

if you drew original images based on game show sets, I don't think that would be a problem. As long as you did not try and claim the game show set designs as original I can't see how this could be considered copyright infringement, but I'm not an expert, just trying to use some common sense which I realize is not always applicable to real world situations.
But if the real question is would you get in trouble, I seriously doubt it. At worst you would be asked to remove them or something, but I can't see you getting in trouble unless you make some false claims about the content of the images, even then chances are pretty remote unless your website becomes super popular.

If the people of who want to be a millionaire or whatever game show sets you drew of don't like what you did, they will contact you and tell you to remove it - they couldn't simply just sue you without confronting you first.

actually i dont think it matters if its copyrighted or not, if you drew it there yours, and even if it isnt if you put a little disclaimer at the bottom of your site saying that those images are copyrighted by there respected owners, i think it would be ok
the law is very toucht around this area. Copyright laws in the UK (i think it's the UK) say that i am allowed to name my site whatever i please, so for example i could name my site html forums, McDonalds or whatever, since the laws say you can NOT copyright a name, however you can copyright a logo, so althought i could name my site McDonalds, i could not use the big logo they have, but it's all very hit and miss around this area, i say you just give it a try and see what happens

You may not be able to copyright a name, but you can trademark it. Which MacDonalds has done.
And no, you couldn't name your site MacDonalds (or MickeyD's or the Golden Arches for that matter). Once they catch on, they'll get you for trademark infringement. Which is just as bad as copyright infringement.
