Rahul here from India, i dont know much about html or web programming, so i guess this would be a good place to start! I am an automotive buff and a mechanical engineer by profession, the only programming I have done is C++ back in school(comp. sci. was my elective in school). I would like to make my own website sometime, something to do with cars probably, so felt I have to start somewhere. Expecting to have a great time here!

Hey Rahul,

The best way to learn html/css is to create yourself a little project, and add to it as you learn. Maybe it would be good if you could come up with some sort of plan for a simple informational website on cars, then slowly as you learn - post on here for tips or help on bits and pieces your doing.
