my BFG lifetime warrenty and the 7800GTX

My card manufacturer offered a life time warranty. If my old card was to mysteriously break in the next few days what do you think they would replace it with?

Is this a sensible upgrade route

my guess is that if they find out that you broke it then you might not get anything. You better read what lifetime warranty actually covers.
