View Full Version : Really need slideshow script, but can't find it anywhere

I really need a certain slideshow script, but I can not find what I want anywhere. I've been searching all over the net now for a few hours. I was hoping that someone knew of a link to a tutorial that I could use? Here's what I want:

1 - An image is displayed with a previous and a next text link. Previous goes back one image. Next goes forward one image.

2 - As well as the previous and back, there are also text links underneath that link to certain slides within the slideshow. When one of these is clicked, it's corresponding slide shows up and if a user presses previous or back from there they can continue to go through the slides from that image.

3 - There is no automatic scrolling at all.

4 - I need to be able to easily add a new slide anywhere in the sequence of the slides without having to completely rename parts of the coding. Basically, it can't just be completely based on numerical values, because that makes it very hard to add a new slide image anywhere.

Can anyone help me on this?

I just want to bump this topic because though I have been unable to be active in the forum recently, I am still very much in need of a script like this. It's quite simple isn't it? Yet I can't find one anywhere. Here is a better example of what i'm looking for:

only it's not a drop down list it's just a text list. is it just not possible? Can someone atleast tell me if it's not possible so I can stop wasting my time trying to find it?

Hello,

Thankyou for your help, but that's not really what I wanted. In the example there are thumbnails to click on then they pop up a picture that you can't go back or forward through.
