Hi guys,
Was wondering if someone could advise me on the configuration of my server. It's a Fedora 6 box, and the problem I have is remote management. It's my first server, so go easy! The server is due to live in a switch, but I can't put it in until I solve this issue.
To manage the server I want to be able to access the graphical desktop environment from my Mac (or Windows PC) - just in case I need to. I have already set this up if the computer is logged in (i.e. past the login screen), but for the majority of the time I don't want the server to exist in a "logged in" state. I've configured ssh to allow access prior to login, but have no idea how to do this with the remote desktop - in fact I don't even know what the service is called!
