Do you have to do anything special to to be able to put a copyright on a webpage?

No, nothing special. As long as the work is yours to copyright all you need do is add some type of copyright notice somewhere on the page(s). Also, any work you do that can be copyrighted is copyrighted automatically without your needing to do anything once the work is created.

You can get an official copyright from the US goverment if you really need to http://www.loc.gov/copyright/

In addition to the copyright symbol and statement, I have even seen a few sites that actually put the comment in the source code to indicate when the page was created.
