Hello all.
I am wanting to set up a wesbite selling unquie clothing. I therethore will be needing a artist to join me and create some fantastic designs for the clothing. A fantastic domain name has been picked. The site will be advertised with this great domain name. The artist will be able to work by him/her self and submit the designs to me. I will then add them to the site. I plan on using the cafepress system. I have used it for years and its a great system to use taking all the work out of it for you.
How things will work:
There will only be one artist, He/She will be expected to make as many designs as possable however there will nenver be any pressure on working to a certain deadline.
Designs to be made for all year round plus x.mas, Mothers day, fathers day etc
The artist will decide how much the tems sell for. Please remeber cafepress have a base charge for every item then we will increase the base charge and we make the difference.
The artist will if possable be expected to make a template for the shop. All template sizes will be sent to the artist. If the artist does not want this part of the job then I will be looking for a designer for it. So send your quotes to me via PM if interested in this bit.
The Artist will be paid on a comission for every sale.
The artist will be paid 60% for every sale untill they design there second design. The comission will then be increased to 70% and will remain this way for life on there designs. I will take the other 30% to cover my costs and make a little profit myself out of the website. The shop will be the upgrade shop provided by cafepress so more designs maybe used. The more items to sell we have the more money will bemade for both of us.
