Really Weird Thing...

I was looking over my site logs, and noticed that a lot of requests are being made each week for the file that manages the comments for my blog...

I found this odd - because, I haven't actually got any recorded comments - checked the database to be sure... then I checked that you could submit comments (had a problem before where the contact form on the site dropped out and didn't send the email) - was fine...

So who are all these people who click on the link to comment, but then decide not to write anything? eh?

Blog spammers maybe? I have a lot of those, trying to sell me Viagra, enlargements and who knows what else. :rolleyes:

maybe - but there are only 2 actual comments in the database, which I put in there to test the system...

Weird crawler spiders or something? I dunno... I dislike SPAM viagra and enlargement messages, though. I got gMail to block it *finally* but they rotate their mails :shady:
