Hi,
I'm searching for a code that let me use
my own creation of a cursor in a browser.
It may be still or if you have any advice how to make
an own animated cursor (no trashcodes!)would be nice

1. What do you mean by trashcodes?

2. Try this: http://www.astalavista.com/code/javascript/archive/cursoreffects/follow.shtml

Good Luck!

trashcodes?

These are nice cursors (click here (http://www.cometcursor.com)), but the software need to install those cursors are SPYWARE, meaning don't use it! Just be aware of this if you come across this!

Sorry Mark, but I think you'll find the story that Comet Cursor is spyware to be a bit of a furphy.

To quote from David Coursey's story The mystery of Comet Cursor: How it got on my PC (yours too) on ZDNet (See: http://www.zdnet.com/anchordesk/stories/story/0,10738,2677247,00.html for the full story): "As for the spyware allegations, they're not true. Such reports amounted to nothing more than one of those urban legends that circulate around the Web. While its software does tell its server someone has seen one of its custom cursors -- they get paid based on these impressions -- it doesn't send any identifying information about the user back to the company."

Yet. True, but the same can be said of most things. Anyway, what I posted still stands - paranoia of others doesn't make it true. All I was indicating was that it's not spyware according to ZDNet - and there's also a retraction by CNet following a story they did calling comet cursor spyware (I just can't be bothered finding the link).

This is CSS2 and it's not supported yet:
