Since my school has admin locks on what we can open, they blocked internet options. I have looked around and have found the set as homepage script on google, but I want to rise in populariaty by making this option avaible. Most of the people at my school aren't techno-literate and wouldn't be able to figure out where to type the address in the code; so can anyone help me figure this out

Heres What I hope to accomplish:

What you want as Homepage

---Imput Box Goes Here--- ---Submit---

the form i had before was named 'form1' so when i tryed it it asked if i wanted to set the homepage to 'form1' which didn't work.

I'm new to html and java script, so i don't know how to do this. Please Help Me,
Jason

Wrong forums, if the admin locked it, it's locked for a reason.

I replied to the other locked thread: http://www.htmlforums.com/showthread.php?t=85845

You are saying you want to break your school's computer policy? I don't think so.

it seems your rather techno-illiterate :D
you wont get any help on breaking the rules.. the most i can say is google around for c#
your going to need a highly complex app/database ,, extensive programming will be needed :P

blackpepper, may I ask what you are talking about? He is wanting a javascript script to change IE's homepage as it cannot be done through the internet options window. Our school had that locked down until this year... but full access to the filesystem (fun :P) was always there through IE hehe. School network admins are peculiar.

Pacman, school policies are there for a reason and it's illegal to try to circumvent them. No one here will help you do that. Don't ask again, please.
