hey guys,

this is just a warning so you don't have to go through what I did yesterday. I was editing a layout all day and finnaly was puting the final touch on it. After i saved and chose to overwrite my ftp disconnected in the middle of the transfer!! so ya when i wen't back about 3/4 of my code was just gone, evaperated out in web space. It took me a while to redo everything and needless to say, I was pissed. Anyways, do yourself a favor and stay away from CORE FTP.

ps - has anyone else had this happen, I'm convinced I have a web design curse put on me or something.

Is this a one-time thing? This can happen with any ftp-client, and not having a backup is, in my opinion, just plain stupid. (( I rarely have them, and that's my own fault :P ))

I am guessing you use Linux, since you posted here, so I would suggest getting gFTP - the best (in my opinion) FTP client for Graphical Enviroments in Linux.
