is there anyway of making .wav files smaller?i ask because i tried adding it to my bground and it was like 30 or 60 seconds but took a while to load.then i saw another site around 120 seconds and load faster.i've also seen for pictures like a size 300kb and make it smaller to 56 kb ect. by chaging the colors smaller or whatever else you want to do with it.is there any program like that for wav files?

Thier is a program called "mp3directcut", which allows you to shorten, mix and other options for mp3 tunes, you could possibly use this and then convert it to wav. A search on the net should find the program...its Freeware.

To reduce the size of a .wav file you should use some program like sound forge or similar.

A wav is usually 16 bit, stereo, 44 Khz.
Use this program (or any other) to reduce the file to 8 bit, mono, 32, or 22 Khz.

In sound forge open your wav -> file -> properties -> format , and try different options.

The above changes will reduce the file size 4 times.
