New way for Google to rank sites

Google has added a new factor in the algorithm they use to rank a site (ie. where the site is ranked for a particluar search).

The interesting thing I got out of this, is that Google completely ignores the meta tags and descriptions.

I've noticed that. It's pretty cool and accurate.

Have you noticed how fast Google is as well? I have always been a die-hard AltaVista fan but I was looking at Google one day skeptically and it takes like one second to come back with results - little ads on the results pages help.

Yep thier are other SE's that dont look at the Meta-Tags also.
