What do you think? It looks best with a modern browser (tested in Safari and Camino so far), by the way. I've been searching for the best easy-to-implement PNG-24 transparency fix for IE for the site. It has to work for both CSS background images, AND <img> tags. What are your suggestions?

The site design is just a CONCEPT, and I did it in less than an hour. However, I DO think that the simplicity is nice, and it's the first "dark"-themed site I've done.

Thanks for your helpful feedback! :)

P.S. It has got valid XHTML & CSS...

Wow. I really like it. The only thing I don't really like about it is the actual slideshow for your pictures. It seemed to take awhile to load...

Also, I just want to say that you have great pictures. Once I get my photo site slapped together, we should compare city pictures from cars.. I have some fun ones from Seattle.

Anyways, I think it looks great!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

I'm trying to better implement my photos from Flickr into the "Photos" page. I'd like to group them by sets (using small thumbnails with captions), if that is possible with any of the Flickr apps out there. I think I would like that better than a linear slide show because the user has more choice.

Suggestions? :)

The slideshow is an interesting way of doing it. It just took an awfully long time to load, then it wasn't very easy to get back and forth between pictures that weren't in order.

Then again, you could have 2 different gallery pages, one version with the slideshow and one with thumbnails and the images in a new window or whatnot. Variety is the spice of life.

Hi,

I like the site but I would make the following alterations if it was mine:

1. Replace the dashed line around the page with a solid one
2. Make the font smaller than size 12 for the content (possibly 10)
3. Make the copyright notice smaller (1 or 2 lines, size 8 font)

Other than that I think it is great, I love the flash gallery. Did you make it yourself or is it a download? I would really like to have something like this for one of my sites so if you could let me know I would really appreciate it :)

I don't see a flash gallery anywhere. I tried to find photos, but all I came up with was flickr.

i found two good photos on the main page
but didnt find other photos.
what a visitor expects is that he should find all the images on clicking the photos link.
the main page looks good.
