Here is my website, The Green Day Authority (http://www.greendayauthority.com/) (if you couldn't tell it's a Green Day fansite) . I don't want to make a fool of myself by mis-understanding these numbers from my WebStats, so I thought I'd post them just to make sure I'm reading them right.

So if I am, i gather that we get between 27,000 and 39,000 visitors average daily. And that we also get between 1 million and 1.14 million visitors in a total month, and between 10.1 million and 14.2 million page views per month. First off, am I getting all those numbers right?

Alright, if everything is correct, now, how much do you guys think would be fair for us to charge (either weekly, monthly or whatever) to people wanting to advertise on our site. I want to make sure it's something reasonable, because I dont want to overcharge and scare away people. You'll see we have a space on the top where we have standard 468x60 banners (currently we only put banners there from cj.com where all our affliations are CPA), and we have space on the rightside that is currently being used by some Google Ads. So ads on that side can be anything up to 130px width and up to 240px height. The rightside ads are viewed on about 98% of all the pages on the entire site, as where the one above the news is only visible on the index page, but we can't forget that a big percentage of people sometimes don't wonder too far from the index page, so it's a trade-off.

Anyways, I've never been good at pricing and I'd really appreciate any input.

Wrong forum, but yes those numbers seem right. That site ranks really high on Google even searching just 'Green Day'. Like 3rd on the list.. I mean if you are getting THAT much traffic an ad there would be worth a pretty penny.. I personally do not know pricing but I can tell you that you should be getting more than Google ads will offer.

Ah yeah, sorry about the forum. I wasn't sure where it should go. But thanks for the reply. I was pretty sure about the numbers, but I just wanted to be certain.

We've done pretty good with Google Ads, but I'm kind of getting tired of them. Either the same ones, or the same basic layout all the time. I wanted to open up the site to more individual advertisers, so we can hopefully get some people interested that would offer our visitors something more direct instead of the usual general "Punk" or "Green Day" items that come up on Google.
