Help - play sample....

Ok, I am doing a site for a client. I need to be able to allow people to hear a short 20 or 30 sec sample of the songs from the cd before they buy.... I already converted the cd to mp3 format using simple mp3 maker. and i have real producer basic, but i cant figure out how to only do a short part of the song.... and ideas?

Why don't you get RealJukebox (or something similar), play a song, press "record" where you it to begin, press "stop" 20-30 seconds after it has played, record as .wav or something, and convert the .wav to .rm in RealProducer?

Or go to http://download.com and find some music editing software.
