To apply text to the buttons you would need to use some sort of image editing software. I use adobe photoshop.

To go about using on your page you would have to first slice the image then assemble it back into html using tables.

One of my next projects for the interface section is to go thru and slice them all and code the html similar to the template section. So all the user would have to do is add his/her text to the images and upload the files.

Thank you, I can change the text just fine. My problem is i can slice the image using fireworks and give them urls, but they wont work as buttons and when I use dreamweaver to make it into html document, they dont work. I dont know what you mean by slicing it and puting it back to gether using tables, other than what I have done with fireworks.
When you get that interface project done i would love to see it. Thank you.

Use Corel Photo-Paint, Adobe Photoshop or whatever image editing software you have (not Flash or Fireworks).

You need something which will allow you to make several small pictures out of 1 big one, which when fitted together, make the big picture.

You know! when you click the curser on a part of the picture, drag a square or oblong, then click copy & paste as a new picture.

Then you can add words to each small picture like "Home" and "Links" etc.

Then hyperlink the small pics to your other pages.

If you still don't know what I mean, the choose a particular interface, post it here & I'll do you an example.

No matter what interface or image editor you use, there is a program that does all the hard work for you.
I use Picture Dicer. Its fast and easy. you can download it for free at http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/stories/info/0,,000SSH,.html

I hope this will hwlp you out.
good luck!
