Video player?

I am wondering what the best option for a video player would be for my site. If possible i would like to have a column of choices to the left, and the player to the right. Do I want the column to be in flash, Iframe or what:confused:

How many videos would you have. What is their extension and what video editing software do you have available to you? Do you have Flash?

I use a program called LiveSwif for flash. Videos are all different types from swf to flv(photobucket). Video software i have windows movie maker. But i can probally aquire any software required. About 8 videos :D Thx.

What are the dimensions of them? You will need a flash video player, this can be done in Dreamweaver 8 or a for a more customized one you can use Flash 8 which has FLV Playback components. I say have images of just the first frames of the flash or links up to you. Then you can use javascript to write the html for normal flash files (.swf) or an flv video player.

No you won't need a different page for each video. You will use javascript to dynamically write the html. Do you have links to these videos so I can give you an example?
