I want to host my own forum

I have no idea how to set up my own forum. I owuld like to because I'm creating a web page that would benefit with a forum. Is there HTML codes or some type of thing I can do to acheive this. Like I said, I don't know the first thing about doing it, but want to.

First you may want to know that in order to have a forum like this one you need to have a working knowledge of PERL or PHP. If you do then check out www.infopop.com (http://www.infopop.com) for more info on our type of forum board, the UBB.

If you don't know much about scripting or if your server does not allow it then I would sugguest getting in touch with someone who does know about it or taking a look at www.ezboard.com. (http://www.ezboard.com.) You can creat your own forum like this with no scripting at all.
