Hello all!
I have a dual-boot machine, with WINXP English version and Suse Linux 10 on it.
Because I have a project, I need to install also WINXP Greek version. I have free unpartioned space on my hard disk.
My question is, if I install WINXP Greek version the normal way, will the Linux bootloader recognize it? If not, can anyone advice me on what steps must I take so that I have WINXP English version, WINXP Greek version and Linux in the grub bootloader?
And, when I put the WINXP Greek version CD inside, will it find the free space (that is will it recognize the space that Linux in installed on)?

Windows can only install to ntfs or fat32 partitions. Linux uses its own format for its partitions. I've heard bad things when people try to install windows once linux is already installed. Why do you need the greek version of xp?

Ι need to take some screenchots of the Desktop, Control Panel etc, and it must not say "Control Panel" or "My computer" or "Recycle Bin" but the Greek equivalent... I will erase the Greek version as soon as I finish the project, it's just for a few days...

Why don't you just translate the phrases on the Internet and find a similiar font, then use an image manipulater like the GIMP to add them to the windows? It would be quicker than installing a whole operation system...

Is it possible with WinXP to actually change the language? I think it is, but I'm not sure...

Well, Windows is evil in the install, it will DELETE your Linux bootloader without asking, so booting your SuSE will also be hell, as you need to use a liveCD, mount, chroot, reinstall Linux Bootloader, then reboot.

I recommend installing on a seperate HDD, and then taking your other HDDs OUT of your PC, so Windows doesn't kill them :)

No, you cannot change the language in XP. You need the right install CD for languages. Bummer, really. In Linux you can change language all you wish :)
