DSL or Cable

Not sure if I'm in the correct forum for this---but here goes.

I've been using DSL for quite sometime and have been totally fed-up with the "local" telephone company and have been considereing switching to cable (RoadRunner) but I have heard that RoadRunner can become "slow" at times. Also, I have 2 puters networked (hardwired) to my router and am uncertain if the cable modem can be connected via ethernet to my router.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge regarding this comparsion I would certainly be interested in you input.

Well, this can be sorted quite easially. About the RoadRunner becoming a SlowRunner now and again, I cannot help, I don't live where you do, so I couldn't tell. But, this can be correct. Some ISP's get a crowded network now and again, so they cut down on some people, so the corporate connections remain at full - that's how it goes where I live anyway. When you sign up for a new connection, you should get a router, and then you can connect both your PC's to that :)
