Okay.. um.. I just checked FastClick, and it turns out, over 800,000 banner impressions and over 1000 clicks were wasted on my default banner - which is nothing.
I *need* another ad agency to fill in the gap. I searched through doubleclick's site extensively and also engage's, but could not find ANYWHERE to sign up for their paying service.
Any suggestions? I currently make around $3 a month, but if these 1000 clicks were on a banner network, that's gotta be at least 100 bucks right? Help out if you can, thanks.
There are many ad agencies out there. Are you looking for CPC or CPM. Some good CPC ones are:
http://www.bannerspace.com
http://www.valueclick.com
CPM pays much more but you propably need to have around 10,000+ impressions a day to get a good rate.
Good Luck,
Paul

the thing that many find annoying with CPM is how they all usually have restrictions like a minimum monthly impression

*sigh* if there were only more agencies like FastClick.. *sigh*
One of bannerspace.com's requirements is that you must receive at least 80% of your traffic from the US or else they will close your account. I tried them out on A1 for a short time a while back only to receive an email that the account had been terminated due to the US traffic percentage being below there minimum requirement.
One which could have potential is validads.com, however their code only works in IE browsers and although I have sent several emails to their support team, I have never heard a reply and they still have not corrected their code. :( . maybe if enough people sign up and complain, they might get their act together and fix it so it works.

yes it certainly looks like it does. I signed up Ian, but are you sure the code only works in IE? I searched the whole site but found nothing that said that
Hi Ian, thank you for that site. Hopefully I will get accepted. If not Im making changes to my site anyway and I should get accepted then. Did anyone ever receive a check from them, I dont want to be ripped off again.
Thanks,
Paul

*hooray*
I got accepted. Well I dont know if we'll get ripped off. It seems like a good company. They only pay once you accumilate $100 US, so for a site like me, it'll be a bit of a wait.
The thing is, you could double your revenue, they allow you to put the code on the same page twice.

Really, does that mean one on top one on bottom, or do both have to be on the top.
Thanks,
Paul

the faq says you can place 2 banners a page, but it didn't say if placement is at top or bottom.
Well, I went to the terms and found Publisher must place our banner on the top of the page, no more than two total banners per page and our banner cannot be on more than one per page.
Basically saying that you can place 2 banners per page, but it you can only total one banner a page?!?
