Couple of things, why the scroll bar on the banner? also I would hide the stats at the top and take out the'Best viewed in Internet Explorer 4+ at 1024 x 768 or higher screen resolution'Takes away the professionalism, is it me or does the page not load into full screen?

It's not supposed to be in full screen. Many people don't like full screen. Thanks for the feedback. However I don't think I letting people know what is the optimal resolution is helpful. Thanks again.

i love it, one question, what are you using to get the small grid effect, i have ben chasing that for a while.

Oh the small grid, good question. Go to photoshop, create a new image, i picked 200x200. Then take the rectangular marquee, and draw a box, really small, about 1-3 pixes. Hold shift to make sure it is a perfect square. Then fill the square with black, move down, then right, and press delete. Then press left, then up, to move the square back to place. Go to edit-->define pattern. Then, make sure you close that picture, and on the picture you want the grid to be used on, go to edit-->fill and use pattern. Try it a few times, youll get it. just came from your site and looks really good.i'll be doing my site with flash too well i'll try too.i wanted to know around how long it took you to do your site and what programs did you use for your flash.i just bought swish v2.0.i just strated learning making web sites well the basics some here have seen what i got so far.i do have flash intros but that's about it.well get back when you can.later on.

I made the background picture in Photoshop 5.5. As for the flash animations and the site, I used Macromedia Flash 5. I suggest you use Flash 5, as it is the standard for flash webdesign. Email me if you want to talk, Id be glad to help you with some tips. Good luck

One thing about the Alien League font. Did u just write the just write the text for the menu buttons (Home, About etc.)? Because for some reason it doesn't come out too clear (I've used it on my site in flash).

It seems to look a lot crisper if u create the text buttons in say Photoshop & import the pictures & convert them to symbol buttons.

Apart from that... WOW!

U might see wot I mean about the font looking clearer if u look at my site (the left hand menu) http://www.foood.co.uk/ (Don't laugh, not as cool as urs LOL!)

badxcow, you already know i think your site is freaking awesome (although you should change the songs by now :p ) haha. fooood, the flash intro is cool, but takes forever to load even on a cable modem. maybe its your server? i like the text effects as well.
