ok, i know html and some css. i may get photoshop but i want to know sumthing. are there any free web hosting sites with no ads that will let me use more than html. like css and dreamweaver and photoshop, and javascript. becua i am making a website for my friends band and they wont pay me and say they think i shud be able to do it free. but iv had no luck. most of the places only let me use html, and not even use html templates. i really need a hosting site that fits these requirements!!!!!!!!!!!! please help

Its a one time fee of 4.95 and then its free as long as you keep your contact info up to date but already need to own a domain name. They give you php, mysql, ftp, cpanel, fantastico. Probably more than you need. You may find some hosting here as well. http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Web_Space/
Do your friends have a domain name? What are you getting out of this from your friend's band? Anything? I would at least ask for something in return.

um...nothing. and all the other places i do are free. and the band dusnt have ne other sites. im not gonna get nething out of this. but do either of these places have no ads or allow all scripts and photoshop? becus thats what i need

The site I linked you to has no ads and does allow scripting, when you say all scripts I'm going to guess you mean javascript. It also allows frontpage extensions. Photoshop isn't a language its a graphics program so I'm guessing you mean images. It helps when you get terminology correct. The free hosting plan only gives you 25mb of space so if you intend to store more than this on the server then you might need to find a different host. A free web host without ads is hard to find. You, yes YOU need to do some research.
