HTTP 406, when uploading PHP file

Whenever I try and upload a file to http://www.thefbsite.com/downloads.php?category=1, to upload a file, goto the upload link at the bottom, I get a HTTP 406 error. Now I own this site and have root access to the server (though I do not own the server itself). Anyone got any ideas as to how I could fix the problem:confused:
