Hi, I am the owner of freewebtemplates.net ....
with freewebtemplates.com
I am curious if this could cause any legal interface with myself or my site.. Considering I will only be using this domain for a few months... I am not sure it would be worth taking me out...
Personally, I beleive a domain is a domain, the search engines should love it, and the people can remember it until i get the $$$ to get a new one..

Hello, Tony.
Using a similar domain name as an established company is tricky business. There are some questions to ask yourself that will help you make decisions concerning your domain. None of these questions are accusations, so please don't take them as such. They are just guidelines to help you understand the way freewebtemplates.com may think about your domain.:)
Did you choose freewebtemplates.net just to gain from the popularity of the .com site?
Is "freewebtemplates" trademarked?
Companies such as Yahoo deal with this on a daily basis; but, you're not dealing with Yahoo.
I would like to believe that website owners which have a problem with others using similar domains would buy up all the .com, .net, .org, etc. associated with their name.
However, do not expect the .com site to like it. If they have any legal hold on the domain name, they will use it.

I see, I have a few other .com domains in mind when i get the cash. I am not sure if it is trade marked, and if someone is willing to pay to trademark it i guess I am gonna pack up and run away :-/ .
Over all, I think I will be safe, if anything happens, i know one thing, I will have my content and the move wouldnt hurt much... Thanks for your thoughts.
Anyway, I bet Doni is laughing so hard he go poopy in his pants, I have nothing to pull, all i wanted was a good domain for the meta engines....
