Paid to surf, Paid to read email = B.S.??

Hey... I used to do alladvantage.com and a few more... I did get a 20 doller check from them. But then i made lotsa money the next time and never got it in the mail. I was wondering if people actually do make money on these things, and are the paid to read email things an easy way to make money?

I'm pretty sure it's all B.S.... but has anybody else tried them?
