images on apache

when browsing my localhost/php pages...the images don't show. The url etc is all correct, but when i go to View image it comes up with Forbidden. How can i allow images to show? (my thinking was somewhere towards httpd.conf)

Wow this post is pretty old without a reply. Hopefully you have figured this problem out but if not...


Are you sure that the images files and the folder they are in have the correct permissions? Everyone needs to have read access for them to work.
