metas for different search engines?

i've been using and documenting some options provided by KSearch, and everything is running smooth. When i use the same search words, on the same domain that has its search updated at the same time after the same updates, i recive different results! is this directly program related? and can i add a section of metas on the scripts so everything will result the same?

KSearch and htdig... 2 programs, 2 results, 1 domain

Can you post some furhter information on ksearch? I'm not familar with it.
