Hi everyone and happy new year!
I found this forum when i was browsing the web trying to find a solution to a problem i have been having and decided i would take a peek and see if anyone here could help me out.
I desiged and manage a website for my boss. The site is to promote my boss's video production business and we have examples of his work encoded on the page so clients can look and see past projects.
I have been using windows media as the file format, but we discovered that there are nothing but countless problems when people on mac's try to see these particular files.
We decided that we were going to make 2 seperate files, windows media for windows users and quicktime for mac users. My question is, how do i get the browser to recognise which operating system the person viewing the page is using, and how do i get it to point to the correct file?
If anyone can help, that would be SO great! thanks
