I was wondering - around how many banner impressions would $200 get me?

That all depends on how targeted you want to be. I could sell you 1000 impressions on my site for 70 cents. My site is entertainment based like yours. On some networks they charge about $5 of run of network (not targeted) and about $10-$15 on a targeted category. That's only 20,000 impressions on these large networks. I wouldn't advertise on these as you can for much less on an indivudual site. If you would like to look into advertising on my site please let me know, I get about 8,000 impressions a day, or you could search on search engines for media kit directories. I don't remember any but I know there are some that will display sites that need advertisers, you can get the best deals there.

Sorry but I'm looking for a ad agency to pay.. I just don't feel comfortable paying you :) - I currently use FastClick to get paid for banner ads, but they want a minimum of $1000 to host ads..

Sure I understand, the thing is I have many customers for hosting and they are fine with paying me. But I propably would feel the same way. Anyway try one of these media kit directories, I cant recall any but there are a few. Also like I said these ad agencies charge a lot for CPM, atleast $10 and that is a lot for a site that doesn't sell anything. Try contacting http://peel.com and ask what their rates are, they run an entertainment network that should be great for your site.

Right now it's not the best in the world as it was only started about a month ago but I will add much more and make it much better. It receives on an avarage of 2,000 hits a day and 8,000 impressions.
