Stars and there pictures

Hi,

I wonder if anybody can give me some advice.

My question involves the banner at the top, do you think the pictures are likely to cause me problems.

Someone suggested to me that I see if i can get pommision. But I have no idea how to do that?

What do you think?

If the celebs faces you used in the banner have publicly admitted to having (past or present) the condition then there should be no problem, at least no problem associating them with dislexia. If they have not admitted to having this condition then there is a small chance that you could be asked to remove an image if that person or their agents see its.

As long as you are not making a profit by using the images there should be no problem to use them, unless the association with dyslexia is not appropriate.

I do not believe you are doing anything illegal, but that doesn't mean you couldn't be hassled by one of the celebs if they protest the use of their image.

Yep, I agree with Kevin. Some of them would probably approve of it as it is for a good cause that they would sympathise with, but you always run the small risk of somebody complaining. I don't think you are doing anything illegal though. They are more likely to get upset by some of the things the media use their pictures for. At least you have good reason, provided they have already made their dyslexia public knowledge.

Thx, thats made me feel better.

I wasn't sure if I was going to get sued or somethng similar. all the stars (except the historical) are listed in the British Dyslexia Associations (Charity) web site as been successful dyslexics. so i'm 99% certain they have admitted publicly they are affected by dyslexia.

I would definitely agree with Kevin. If they have admitted to having dislexia, use the pics. If they have a problem with them, just comply to whatever the person's demand is.
