Random folder name

How can one generate random folder names in Linux, if possible? e.g. the name of a certain folder changes automatically every hour or so (not necessarily seeking a built-in feature. 3rd parties welcome).

I know that this was posted a while ago but I think I can answer it. What you would need to do is set up an hourly cronjob that executes a program/shellscript that would generate the new filename and move the old one there.
