hi guys .. i'm one the look out for some real good free cgi-host which works better than f2s.com

the thing is that im running a no-profit site (no-ads nothin') concerning music (indian languages) .. the only thing i require is less than 1Mb or maybe less 500 Kb to put up some cgi-scripts ..

my vistor count is 150-230 unique visitors/day excluding returning visitors ..

f2s guys seem to be out most of the time nowadays .. so i do need some serious help ..

yes I know all too well about the F2S downtimes. I would suggest taking a look at

netfirms have more downtimes than the f2s guys ...

& at times we cant log even to their ftp server ..

are you sure? I've been using F2S for almost 6 months now, and Netfirms for 4 months. Never experienced netfirms being down. F2S on the other hand, their servers are still experimental

F2S on the other hand, their servers are still experimental I haven't used f2s, but saw that it has more downtimes then netfirms. I have my forum at netfirm and it works fine (and its fast too).

NETFIRMS IS HORRIBLE

Minus the banner ads at the top which arent to bad, they put a popup on every page!! and unlike services such as tripod, u cant leave one popup open to stop them from comming

I've never experienced popup ads on netfirms. I just checked my site and saw no popups

true .. i too never noticed any pop ups with netfirms ..

with them the prob. i face is when my hit-counter rises they simply block or severly slowdown my site ..

slow down your site? Thats not realy fair! One problem I did encounter recently with my netfirms ikonboard, out of nowhere my ikonboard stopped working, something about an internal server error. The strager thing is, is that I didn't do anything to my site for a while and *poof* ikonboard stops working.
