CSS/Java Positioning

Hey all,

I am making a webpage that is Flash based but has a background pattern. I am positioning the Flash on the page using CSS and was wondering if anyone had a Javascript that would perhaps change the CSS file or the position of the flash depending on the resolution of the users computer. Is something like this possible or am i just dreaming?
