It's quarter past 10 already ... on a Sunday night, work tommorow, up for 7am. How the weekend just flies past :(

It's 18:30 here, or some time Monday morning for our British friends. I think the Aussies are working on Monday afternoon already, but don't quote me on it. <sigh> I get so mixed up because the time change goes in the wrong direction and I have trouble figuring out which way it goes anyway.

00:45 Monday moring, already been at work for 2 hours, had 2 fights (verbally) with patients and 1 with a Dr. 3rd coffee... and I am calming down.

As for the weekened, 30 hours over Friday and Saturday nights... but I managed to get some guild wars in when I got home.

Sorrows Furnace in Guild Wars... anyone who plays, know of any folk who are reliable in this mission? The Henches are awful and the online players are just as bad.

2 hours and 3 fights. You're doing well, Entimp. One coffee for each fight, I see. You might want to increase that a bit, coffee before and coffee after. Just don't have a coffee while you're arguing. <sigh> It's sooooo tempting to give some people a wake-up bath, innit? ;)

<voice style="whining scouse accent">I want paracetomol for my 22 year old lads earache, and I want it delivered now! I dont care what other patients you have to see and how bad there breathing is or if they have a suspected MI... cause I know my rights!</voice>

You would be surprised about how many people think they know their rights!

well... i just went to bad very shortly after posting...

Imp - we get customers like that "i want you to come and fix this problem that i caused now and for free"... um... no...

i can imagine it being worse in a hospital... everything is so serious for the person involved - even if it is just a papercut...

How does that line go? "Stupidity on your part does not necessarily constitute an emergency on my part." Or something like that. ;)

I know a few people like that. <huge sigh> It's comforting, I suppose, to know that those kinds of people aren't restricted to just one continent, isn't it?

1pm, spent the last 2 hours ringing schools in the Liverpool area for a teacher obs place in order to get on my teaching degree.

Realisation of the day: GP secretaries/receptionists are not the little uber control freak petty Hitlers I thought they were!

This coveted title now goes to that of school secretaries/receptionists!

I wanna break something!

Heh, I saw the title and thought this might turn into some kind of witchcraft discussion. Haha--my bad.. But isn't the witching hour at 03:00? Or perhaps I'm thinking of a different cult..

The only time (outside of checkups) I've spent in hospitals was twice: Once at 4, when I broke an arm, and when I was 16, and I had pneumonia. I tried not to be a bother the last time, but who knows what chaos I created at 4..

Try breaking water, if need be. Let me know if you succeed--and be sure to take a photo!

*lol* Hi, Juparis, welcome back! We missed you!

A discussion of witchcraft? Hey, we're only on post #16. Give it time. We'll get around to it eventually.

from memory, the witching hour was midnight... and was supposedly a time of the night where an extra was crept in....

I'm surprised anyone's noticed any delay in my recent posting--it seems this is becoming more of a home than home is. And that's not a bad thing! I made a new image just to flaunt that "I'm back" (when I really never went anywhere.. I've just been busy). It doesn't seem to have the same flare or detail that it had on the computer I made it on, but oh well..

@Horus
What do you mean by an extra?
I recall 3 AM just because it's the opposite of 3 PM--the supposive time Christ Jesus died for most Christians. Unless I'm just seeing too many movies. :D

Midnight, especially under a full moon, has the highest number of crimes; black magic or not.. Speaking of which, I saw on the news this evening that New Orleans has become one of the safest cities since Katrina. And in all the cities to which people moved (Houston, Atlanta, Baton Rouge), have a sudden spike in murders and such. Tis a shame... :(

sorry... i seemed to have missed a word in the last post - it was meant to read "extra hour"...

pure superstition, of course...
