Hi

I would like someone who is willing to help and importantly explain anything i dont understand, to convert my table based layout site with fairly extensive css into pure css without tables. I have my index page set up on a free server http://tlwillis.freewebpage.org/ (best viewed in IE, having cross-browser problems in other browsers

Im not asking for a whole website to be developed, all I would like is for someone to replicate my table layout (including the menu and images) with pure CSS just for my index page for free and explain anything I don’t understand

The reason I am asking this is I don’t think I am yet at the level to create a pure CSS layout but by analyzing and manipulating a pure CSS layout based around my design I can then begin to understand.
I would be very grateful if anyone is able to produce this for me? My email address is TimothyLee.Willis@gmail.com or alternatively just post a reply.

Thankyou

Hi, again,

After viewing and replying to your post the other day, I think you underestimate your ability to solve this on your own.

You have a combination table and css design now that validates per W3C. Doing it for you is one thing. Taking the time to train you by explaining it could take hours. You already proved you have talent. Learn the css without tables by visiting examples already online. Here are some sources you might want to visit:

Good luck

Maybe your right i'll give it ago, ideally I would like to replicate my table and css design but that could prove quite difficult. Anyway if I run into any major problems I’ll post a message.

Thanks Gator

I think you just need a bit of confidence Timothy. If you start a new site on your PC with using your old files you should be able to modify and change from there. Don't forget the biggest benefit you have on your side is a willing group of people here to help you.

If you run into problems, post into the html layout area of the Forum.

Okay, opportunity knocks.

A new post may be just the candidate to push start your new layout.
