Hey, does anybody know of a site that offers free hosting WITHOUT FTP (ftp doesnt want to work on my comp any more :( ) Thanks

http://crossfirecom.cjb.net you dont need FTP. But you can use it if you want. Try WS_FTP LE - maybe then you can FTP again...

try getting an FTP if you have to upload a big site. It's much faster that way.

what happens when you try and FTP using your method, are you using the build in FTP thing in Internet Explorer?

WS FTP LE is much better, but it is hard to find on the internet. No FTP should not be your only factor on choosing a host, space and ads should also be important.

:D I got WS FTP Pro 6.7 (the latest one). I got that about 2 weeks back and it works well! I also have Leech FTP but I prefer WS FTP

mostly when i try to connect to the server it doesnt work and it used to like 3 months ago...

Have you tried FTPing to more than one account? If not, it might not be on your end. Even when free web hosts offer FTP there can be problems with it. Some of them work well but lots of them don't.

It also might be your FTP program, many suck very much bad. I use WS_Ftp and that only.
