Inktomi or Looksmart

I feel my site needs a boost in search engines as I think I have exhausted free submit getting 50 unique visitors a day from Google (60%) Yahoo (15%) Lycos(10%) others (15%)

I only want to pay for Inktomi OR Looksmart !

Anyone know which is better. My site is aimed at UK users.

LookSmart

- I have a thing against Inktomi, and I have a thing for LookSmart - don't no why!

But I definitely think you'd be better of giving your hard earned cash to LookSmart.

LookSmart also have a .co.uk domain, which I notice Inktomi do not. And since your site is aimed at UK visitors you'd be better off submitting it to a .co.uk site (obviously.)

I got my www.futuremovies.co.uk in Looksmart for free by going to Zeal.com and adding my site there - but it is hard work you have to enter a quiz.

It hasent got me any more hits - because it could be early days so it could be some time before other search engines use the data - I hope - or they may treat unpayed inclutions from zeal cheaply compared to others who payed them £150.

- Only problem is that Zeal is a US directory and so www.futuremovies.co.uk will not be in the uk looksmart.co.uk
unless i pay them through Zeal.

- I recon I may be tempted to pay Inktomi now.

- but I shall keep in touch and tell you all about it give it a month or two for other sites to spider Looksmart.
