I like how the opacity changes instead of using more GIFs, at least that's what it looks like glancing at your code. When using images to replace typed text it's great that it's bigger so some users aren't limited in legibility.

Hello,
I personally think your website could use some more color. For example, on your navigation the bars are gray. Perhaps you could use CSS to create a blue background with small 2px borders separating each item, then use :hover to change the color to the background color of the page.
Another thing I just wanted to note was that when the Geocities ad is open, in your red quote box the text overflows the div in Firefox 1.0 (1152x864 resolution).

Stpherzaroni,
If you want your web site reviewed please create a new topic, do not ask for your site to be checked out in someone else's topic. It gets cluttered and is considered poor taste.

Hi,
I like the way the links change the text box in the center, and I like your arrangement of text inside this box.
However, to me the page looks very unbalanced. (I am viewing in IE6, at a resolution of 1280 x 1024). I think it would be better if you had a photo of your friend at the top, next to her name (either on the left or the right). Then you could move the red quote box down, so it runs right across the page underneath the title and your friend's photo (or other graphic if she doesn't want to use her own picture). This would link everything together quite neatly, I think.
Another suggestion might be to change the background colour of the page to match the background colour of either the title or the menu bar. I have a pale green set as my default background for documents and that is the main colour I am seeing!
