....where to start. First off, OMG this thing hurts my eyes. Really need to keep into consideration that if u want people to visit your site more often, you need to have an astetically pleasing color scheme. Now a litle bit of advice, every peice of text doesnt need a special effect. Its a good idea to have some plaing text here and there, but ones that still go with your color theme.
A good idea, since you are new, is to go to a good tutorial site, and practice making some the the web designs, this way you get a feel of good design ideas, and also get a feel for the tools of the trade. A good site that i learn just about all of my skills at is http://www.good-tutorials.com i even have a full tutorials under the web layouts section.
I must say as a starting site you show some promise in ideas for layout, just your colors and themes need alot of work.
SD Rating: 3/10- You show some promise in design terms, just need alot of work, use some tutorials, they do help.

oo also ur site doesnt really work at all in firefox. Another part of doing good web design is testing it in the most commonly used browsers.

Hmm you might want to get yourself a decent html editor. Microsoft Word is NOT an html editor. There are many free ones, one that comes to mind is 1stPage2000 (http://www.evrsoft.com).

Thankyou very much for the advice and comments. I guess its time to go back to the drawing board again. Just out of interest is there any reason you could think of that i could never get the site to register on google or other search engines?
Thanks again......

I would suspect that at least part of it is the lack of actual text on the page. Search engines index pages largely based on their content. Since they are incapable of understanding images, this means text. If there's no text, it can't index it.
