Jalouda,

I read that you guys use everyone.net for your email service, i think it looks good, but what is the difference between that, and the zap zone network?

hi rolph,

i had to look into this a bit, because i have not personally tried either of these services. my information may not be totally accurate but i am sure someone will quickly point out my mistakes http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/smile.gif

basically, zzn and everyone.net offer the same thing - they both let you offer e-mail from your website, so they are just competitors.

zzn addresses will look like user@yoursite.zzn.com while everyone.net addresses look like user@yoursite.com, if you have a domain, or user@yoursite.every1.net otherwise.

both services are designed to be easy to set up and are accessible to all. the differences are mainly to do with the features which your e-mail accounts will have. each account space is 3Mb at zzn and twice as big at 6Mb at everyone.net. everyone.net appear to offer far more features with their accounts - visitors can create sigs, check pop mail, avail of bulk mail filtering etc. also, from the webmaster's point of view, you can create a signature that will go at the end of all users' outgoing messages and you can delete users with everyone.net's service.

Both services can be customised quite a bit - you can choose colours, have your logo etc on log in pages and the e-mail interface. everyone.net's service seems like it might be a bit more customisable, but this may not be true.

Both services are free and are supported by banner advertising. However, with Everyone.net's service you get 50% of the banner space to display any banners you wish.

Well, that is all I was able to find out. From the outside looking in, while both services look good, everyone.net would seem to be the superior. Maybe actual users of both services would be able to say whether they agree based on their own experiences?

Hope this helps

Good evaluation jalouda! It'd be nice if the descriptions in our web directory contained some of this information. *HINT* http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/wink.gif

That's why I make the big money Jalouda. By the way, don't forget that these services also appear in Free_Services/Email/Start_Your_Own (my syntax may be wrong, but you get the idea). http://talkboard.123webmaster.com/ubbhtml/biggrin.gif
