Hey guys,
you all have been great help in getting my site up and running from the beggining. now that it's up, and i actually have some traffic that consists people other then me, my family, and you guys, i wanted to sell some ad space. what are your recommendations for CPC and CPM sites now that most have gone under or switched to pay-per-performance? things to consider are traffic requirements, ability to select target advertisers (i.e.-game/software related), reliablility, and obciously pay out. thanks in advance.

How long did it take them to approve your application? I am very impatiant and only filled out the form yesterday, but I just hate to wait. Also what CPM rate did they give you?
Thank You,
Paul

I've looked at that sponsor too and not sure whether to sign up. Anyone has any experience with them? Or are they still new?

What's the best CPM program that accepts PayPal?
Or just any CPM program or just any sponsor that accepts PayPal?
I've been searching for this for a week+, night after night...
Can't find any.

fastclick.com (hey email me at tylercruz@hotmail.com) if you sign up, ill give you my referral ID hehe
Tyler why do you use a e-mail at hotmail. Dont you have one at movie-vault.com or is this just for these forums. Sorry that this is off topic but I always wonder why people with domain names have e-mails at free services.
Thanks,
Paul

Cause im a member at a _lot_ of places, and use tylercruz@hotmail.com to sign up for things, and stuff.
Im afraid if i use something like: webmaster@101h.com or webmaster@movie-vault.com or something, that if one day, i stop those sites, ill have to change my email, and then change it on everything.
Hotmail will never go down because they host millions and millions of people.. pretty much anyone who isnt on AOL or @home.... so that is my theory.
Good theory but the problem with this is that it doesn't make your site look too professional. But I guess you only use this for personal stuff, in that case it's a very good idea. What I hate about hotmail is that they deleted my account that I had for over 4 years. This account held very imprtant e-mails to many places. It also had some good memories with messages as old as 12-24-98 and also had the URL to my first site which I liked to laugh at when I had a bad day.
Thanks,
Paul

of course i dont link to myself as @hotmail.com on movie vault or 101h, i use webmaster@movie-vault.com and webmaster@101h.com - i use tylercruz@hotmail.com ---- and this actually is good because
@home.com is switching emails from @home.com to @shaw.ca good thing i use hotmail.. ya see?
Yep that is good. I just use @thehotweb.net for everything I will need and know wont get junk from it and then I have a hotmail account for stuff not important. Good thing I never used the @home e-mail address. Do you have them with comcast?
Thanks,
Paul

ugh... dont bother with them anymore! Oh after about a week, they give you the banner code. Just login and you'll see it
Well they pay $1-$5 cpm but it's for every UNIQUE impression.
Right now, the rate is $1, so if you get say 7000 uniques and 30,000 pageviews a month (like me), they'll only pay for the uniques resulting in 7 little dollars a month. As opposed to ther companies who actually pay for every view.

Huh..they never wrote back. A represenative contacted me by phone from http://www.gorillanation.com to join their network. I think I will since they pay around 50 cents CPM and a couple dollars CPM for pop-ups. Right now Im with peel.com and lets just say they are among the worst in rates, I get around 6,000 impressions a day and only make around $2 a day with them. Another thing that bothers me is the 90 day waiting periond for your check.
Thanks,
Paul

I never liked reporting.net allways hate the long page that toook hours to load just so you could choose affiliates. As for gorrilanation I dont really know, still haven't faxed the contract to them as I am being careful about this. I have talked to people in their network and everyone said they were pretty good.
Thanks,
Paul

they seem like a fine network. You need a relatively large site though. Most of the 'big' networks need 150,000-250,000 pageviews a month. They require 500,000 pageviews a month, so pretty much only accepting the top sites out there.
Didn't know they require that much. When he contacted me and I told him I receive a little over 200,000 a month he said it would be ok. I'm in the middle of starting my own network but need to grow it beofre I can pay my members any money. Right now I have 1 site and will get a few more in the next week or so.
Thanks,
Paul
hacker, you recieve that much in what site?
hehe
they have a nice design, gorillanation
in http://www.fanaticnetwork.com

Hi,
Not to put your comapny down because it looks great, but your rates are really low. If you counted all impressions and not just unique ones you would have me in the network. I currently have over 200,000 impressions a month and am looking for a good sposor but unfortunally you dont pay enough.
Thank You,
Paul

Hey hacker,
When you said that gorillanation gives you $.50 cpm, is that what they quoted you, or did you work out a deal for that rate? I will be joing gorillanation soon, and I wanted to know if that rate can get even higher, even though it kicks ass as it is.
